Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health authorities during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A man was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines through the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: "It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be harmful.
"These kinds of items being sold, generally online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no warranty about their .
"You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the effect drugs like this might have on your health."
